What Cooking Oil is best for Dry Scales?

hello, thanks for the help in my pervious post , i am gonna go ahead and try the cooking oil but i was wondering which is the best to use? i have some extra virgin olive oil.. will that be good? or is there a better type of cooking oil to use? let me know

That will work fine.
Just remember not to load the animals vents.

The thinner the better. Extra virgin works just fine. If you don't like the mess, (it is a little messy), I've had success with Pedialyte and water 50/50 and just soak 'em for 15 minutes a couple times a week for maintanance.

BTW ......
Dont put them on newspaper substrate when useing oil,it will transfer the ink to the snake. Wont hurt anything,but it will make'em kinda funky looking.
