wich are the main characteristics of each specie???

how can i now if the snake i will get is a coluber or a masticophis?

are these 3 species similar when hachtling or juvenil??

hope somebody can helpme or recomend a website were i can check this information.

count labials (lipscales) or do a scale count or find a pic online of each species as juvinile and pay close attition to the eyes size, and body girth, color.... belly color, location of capture. a racer will bite you on the hand, a coachwhip will bite you in the face and an indigo will not bite you at all.JB
