Well...I made a really dumb purchase. I went to a snake show the other day and came home with a sexual trio of bulls that are 66% het for whiteside. I live in Iowa and was aware that I would need a receipt for the animals because otherwise they are illegal here. I was told that I could probably get a game breeders permit easily then it would be ok to breed them. I get the snakes home and start my calling around to get everything done....and come to find out....I can't get any type of permit in Iowa that would make it ok to breed them. So now I am stuck with three snakes that are pretty much useless to me. Why didn't I just wait and get some northern pines or something? Live and learn.
