I'll be heading home for 10 days at x-mas this year and not too sure what I can do with my girls (2 nigerians). I do not have anyone that can come and feed them, so I'll probably be looking at taking them with me. Problem: Its an 11 hour drive (in Canada).

I'm not against purchasing a rubbermaid container or something along those lines but when I do reach my destination, how could I setup heat lights for them?

Has anyone left their uros for 10 days ? I'm sure they would survive if I left giant bowl of pellets, lentils etc... (lights on a timer) but I just wouldn't feel comfortable doing this.

Any suggestions?

take them with you. 10 days is a long time and the veggies will get really gross. since it is 11 hours buy hand warmers and heat packs. it won't make them extremely warm but it will keep them from getting too cold if you stop to eat and whatnot. don't let the lizards sit on them directly. i put them in socks or some kind of barrier. i would also keep them in a dark box. it just seems less stressful not seeing everything and being scared.
they should be fine with an 11 hour drive. my dad, me and 13 lizards went from san diego, ca to west virginia (40 some hours driving) and they all made it fine
