lighting?

i havent posted here in quite awhile since i got my gecko..but i just wondering something on lighting ..i just had the red heat lightbulb burn out on me and i cant get another one right now can i use a regular 100 watt lightbulb for now?

A regular bulb will work (during the day, obviously), but I would think that a 100 watt would be a bit much - might want to make it more like 40 or 50 watt...

oh ok well i can move the lighting cover so its not so much over the tank so it disbuses the heat out i just askin cause i thought it would be too bright for their eyes or something
