I was going to hook my leopard up with some tile today, and move away from paper towels. Is there a specific kind that will pick up the heat better, or does it not matter what kind of tile is used?

I went back and looked at old posts, found the answer. Here's his new substrate!

I don't have a problem with your hide boxes, just thought i'd bring this up with your good pics helping.
What is everyones thoughts on "hide boxes" that pet stores us to show off leos as actual hide boxes. Letting light in creates a stressful shelter and keeper movement/activity can be seen from these shelters. With that set up does your leo bother with it since it has two other options and if it does, is it only at night?
Yeah, he only hangs out in there at night, and that's only on occasion, after feeding, when i'm putting his stuff back in. He stays in the humid hide (paper towels over heat pad) basically all day, until he gets fed. Then he tosses all of the vermiculite out of the other box, and calls it a night. He seems to love stalking.
I only have that 'hide' because I got it for free. It's a nice looking space saver, that's basically it in my opinion.
