scratches

silver_rose Nov 26, 2006 03:01 AM

the corn that my b/f's friend found I noticed has a few scratches on its face. I was wondering if we could dilute some anti-bacterial to prevent them from becoming infected? or is there something out there that will do that?

Nope, don't worry about them unless they are actual wounds and look to be infected.
Otherwise just keep your snake in a nice clean environment and it should clear up with the next shed.

all right, I was just a little worried since we found the poor little thing outside.

I have one more question. When he found the corn outside he said that there were ants starting to swarm it. And on its underbelly, both sides, and on its left eye are dark blackie/purple spots. could that be from the ants? or do you think its bruising?

thanks for all of your help, besides that the baby seems to be fine. Doesn't look underweight at all, is fairly active and spends most of its time in its makeshift hide. Which is a deli cup with a paper towel in it to keep it warm. ^_^
