I found a bunch of little clear bugs around a snake's water bowl. They were all clear in color (no black ones at all). Are these snake mites or dust-type mites from the aspen bedding?

Probably juvenile snake mites - either way best to err on the side of caution --- check your snakes (head and eye sockets) and clean out the cage and spray.
