hi everyone. I am new to posting on kingsnake but have been checking out the rear fanged forum for sometime for info on the hydrodynastes gigas. well I finally got one about a month ago and he is wonderful, a little on the unpredictable side but I was looking for a challenge. Anyways here's a pic of him and I thank you all for sharing information on here. I hope you enjoy him and looking forward to see you guys on here more often now.

Beautiful snake! hard to get a scale from the picture, any info on the bloodline?

yeah Mark he is about 5.5 foot to 6 foot. at the time he was pretty skittish and didn't want to freak him out with something beside him to scale him. I was told he was about 2 years old and CBB. but other than that I didn't get to find out much, I might be able to contact the breeder sometime but at the time he was out of town. I am lucky to have a very nice reptile shop in the area and they had this guy for a long time and made me an excellent deal on him. He was very skittish at first due to a lack of contact but he is starting to calm nicely now.
