One of my fistier girls wags the tip of her tail just like a cat when she's getting ready to stike(food). Looks kinda like a worm flopping around...
Has anyone else seen their ball do this??

Sounds like breeding behavior. Do you have any males in the vicinity? This is the first thing that both of my females did this year when I introduced the males into their tubs for breeding.

LOL, ive never seen this but it is fun to imagine it. Of course my imagination exaggerates it a bit
It is weird! I will try to videotape it when I put our male in with the next female in the coming weeks.

Yeah... there's a male near by but she's an '06 and way to small to even think about it... she's around 275g right now
Have not seen this with any of my ball pythons, but my juvenile
Borneo STP wags her tail when ever she gets excited/nerveous.
It still makes me smile when ever I see it.

My ball does this on occasion when I'm feeding him. I always assumed it was a sign of anticipation. Who knows, but it's fun to watch!
yes, my male was SUPER excited when i started feeding him live, he would flap his tail around like a boat propeller. He does this occasionally if i skip feeding him during shed. I can see this being a general excited/anxious behavior during breeding and in reaction to other stimuli. It's so cute!
