i was using carefresh for my rats but its a little expensive. switched over to aspen and my place stinks of that bedding and some rat piss also. looks like its back to carefresh.

See, now I find the opposite is true. Carefresh to me is too light and not absorbant at all. I only use it for my skink to burrow in.

I agree, Carefresh does absolutely nothing for mouse smell. Out of all the beddings I've tried, it's the worst.
