Eating Veggies...

jeffbc07 Nov 27, 2006 10:11 PM

I have a baby dragon that I purchased last week. He seeems to be doing great, except that I cant get him to eat any greens. I have tried witholding crickets for a day or two, but he still wont even go near the greens. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

you can try shaking the greens a little. dripping water on them. putting a few wax worms on the greens?

Beardies are drawn to colors it seems- we have had problem feeders who shy away from greens until we took finely grated carrots or squash and mixed it in with the greens. You can also try finely chopped strawberries as beardies like them also. Please remember to keep the size of all food items the size of the distance between thier eyes or smaller. Just a few ideas that work for us.
