anyone lost a ball python to mites?

I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IF ANYONE DID AND WERE THEY AWARE THEY HAD MITES? AND DID THEY DO ANYTHING TO STOP THEM?

I would think that it is more common to lose one through improper treatment.

However, it may be possible for a captive reptile with a really bad case of mites to develop complications, such as anemia.
