Tickets (online purchase) and new updates for "A NIGHT FOR THE CROCS" Benefit Dinner for Crocodile Conservation are now available at the CSG's Tomistoma Task Force web site: tomistoma.org. Tickets will also be available at the office of the Zoological Society of Florida, located at the Miami Metro Zoo starting on December 8th (305-255-5551).
The event will be held at the Miami Metro Zoo on February 24, 2007 from 4:30 - 9:45 PM. A $30.00 donation ($20.00 for kids under 12) includes complete Caribbean style dinner, full day admission to the zoo and a media presentation by National Geographic's resident herpetologist, Dr. Brady Barr. An appearance by "Pip" a captive born Tomistoma and an auction featuring field trips and other items of interest to both biologists and the general public will be held.
