Anyone seen or know where I can see a picture of this type of Drymarchon? I seen some pictures a few years ago posted somewhere but I have not been able to find it again.
Any help would be great.
Thanks,
Ed

The late Lloyd Lemke had those and I have heard they have since passed away. A friend of mine has an old photo of them somewhere in a box and I have asked him to forward a copy of it to me, when he locates it and I will post it, granted he gives me permission to do so. Personally, I am under the impression, from the descriptives given me by those who actually saw the animals, they were D. caudomaculatus, as the species had yet to be described at the time they were imported and Venezuela was still allowing exports at the time..

Best regards,

Jeff

Thanks for the info Jeff. It's said to hear that had passed. Very Impressive looking. It would be great to see photo's of them as I only seen one years ago and I was blown away.
I'm not really big into working with mutations but I do enjoy the looks of something different our mother produced.
Thanks for your time...Ed

From what I have seen and heard described, I do not believe the animals were color morphs, but rather D. caudomaculatus, which went undescribed, until one was encountered in Municipio Colina, Estado falcon, Venezuela, as described by Wuster et al. (2001) in the Herpetological Journal...

Best regards,

Jeff

This isn't the one that was imported years ago, but a picture by Dr Wuster of a caudomaculatus. Unless some piebald Blacktail cribo shows up, this is what I think was imported.

Doug -

That snake reminds me of a Buttermilk Racer.

Cool Cribo! Think any will ever be imported?

Paperwork and negotiations for the importation of a small group of D. caudomaculatus is currently in the works..
