Hi i was looking up some information on uromastyx on the internet and at one website. UroNature, a website that has 4 years worth of field data on the ornate uromastyx found out a lot of new things on uros. First of all they dont eat any insects in the wild, if they do eat any it is because the insects are on the flowers or in the fruit when they eat it. They consume about 1 percent of insects in the diet. Also, they found ornate eggs and when they took the temperature in the egg nesting chamber it stayed at a constant 96 degrees F. They hatch on day 56. I know that most people incubate at 93 degrees F but is that still to low. next year should i put my incubator at 96 and see what results i get?? This website has great recent information on uromastyx so if i were you i would check it out.

Do you have the web address? How are your eggs doing? I was hoping to see a post that you had babies. Thanks for the info.
