Heads up...

I know this is old hat to most of you, but I just can't get enough of these little gophers. I came into the snake room last night, and as you can see they both had their heads up checking things out at the same time. They weren't even staring at anything inparticular just had their bodies raised up. These guys are definately active, and entertaining. I know I posted pics like these just a short time ago, but I still think it's neat. Have a nice day.

Haha!

They're awesome little creatures, aren't they?

What I really like about them is when you find them in the wild (the San Diego's anyway), some are the calmest, coolest little things- like they've been handled all their lives.

Others on the other hand, are like son of satan- meanest little suckers on the block! I actually rescued this one last year in the spring from the middle of a busy street, and the little guy was actually launching himself off the ground, hissing and trying to bite me!

Great pics!

That is a really neat picture. It almost looks like a treat is being dangled above them that has caught their attenion. Those little guys sure look entertaining!

Wow! That picture captures it perfectly --- the reason the people who love these snakes love tem so much --- all that personality. Great photo.
