Albino male finally delivers...

StrikingSerpents Nov 29, 2006 11:01 PM

We hoped this 04 male would breed last year but he just wasn't interested last season when he was about 600 grams. This year we hoped he would be ready. After a couple of weeks with four different het girls and no copulations witnessed we began to worry. Our other albino male has bred with several other females already this season so we were scratching our heads a little. Finally yesterday he copulated for the first time...

I know its too soon to be really excited but I was very happy to see this when I peeked in.

I absolutely love his patterning and the way the colors bleed! Reminds me of watercolor.

Is there a specific name for that patterning? I'm still learning how to tell morphs apart, but he doesn't look like any of the albinos I've seen in photos.

I believe he is a Yellow headed Albino Blush similar to what Morph King has. I will know more about his genetics if he produces some offspring this year.
