I was wondering about how big i can expect my female burm to get at the end of the tr.She is currently 4 ft and i feed her a 1 Med rat about every 10 days.she is about 8 months old.

hi, my albino femal burm is 6 months old and a hair over 6 feet. her growth rate is about 12in/month. i would think that yours would be that same, that is about another 6in/month continuing on your burms pattern of growth. it also depends on what you are feeding her. if she continues on md rats for the rest of the year she probably wont grow as much because of her meal size. since i got mine at about 7 weeks old, i have gone from md-XXXL rats as she has grown. before the end of this year she will be on small rabbits. i guess it all depends on how much you are willing to let your burm gorge herself. hope this has been helpful.

I fed mine the way a book had advised. I was feeding her every 3 days. A little aggressive, I cut her back after having her for six months and hearing and seeing things on this site about power feeding, and I did not want that. I want to say when she was a year old she was about 7ft. She is now three years old and around 12ft, 13ft, feeding 7lbs rabbits everyother week. She also is probably a little over 100lbs.

8 years ago had an african rock that grew 10ft in 1 year.
My larger female indian python is just over 7ft and is 2.5 yrs old now. she was the runt of the litter and i had her since she was 2 month's old. She is now on a medium size wild rabbit once every 6-8 weeks and is doing really well. I took her to the guy's that i bought her from and they were amazed, she is in exelent health and of perfect temper.

I have a 1 year old (to-day actually) female that has put on nearly 500g in her last 8 month's and is eating one medium rat every 10-14 day's.
