"WOW", is the word to describe this one

DMong Nov 30, 2006 04:51 PM

What do you guys think of this one?.......this has got to be one of the prettiest animals on the planet!!...........I bought him, along with another(unrelated female), and an "extreme" hypo Honduran Milksnake(Falcon bloodline). It's hard for me to stop looking at these guys when their cages are opened........I'll post some pics of the other two soon..........If Steve Erwin were alive today, he would definitely say,...."CRIKEY, THAT SNAKE'S DROP-DEAD GORGEOUS!!!!!"

That is a beautiful Hondo, Doug,

And I'm no color-morph fan, so that's saying a lot! ;0)

My WOW! snake was this fellow, when I received him from a zoo! anyone, not already familiar with him, care to take a shat at what he is?

Bear in mind, I stink at photography, or any other creative art form, so the photos do not come close to capturing his true colors...

So, what's everyone else's WOW! snake??

Not sure which one , but I would also say "Drymarchon" of some type.

You're both Right!

That's a mottled Drymarchon m rubidus (Mexican West Coast Indigo aka Mexican Red-tail Indigo) Only 2.2 mottled specimens in captivity, all of which are currently residing within my collection.

Best regards,

Jeff

Causes confusion sometimes by the way she looks but she is pure Nicaraguan.
