Help Keynan Sand Boa Not Eating

i have a 05 male sand boa i bought three weeks ago and hasnt eat since he is in a 10 gallon with aspen with a lil water dish and half heat pad with a day glow light over the tank he seems to be doing fine moveing around and everything when i ofer him the mouse he looks at it moves his head to were i move it then he hides i have tried adult mice witch i was told he was eating then i trie hopper then fuzzy then pinkyes still hasnt eat i need help i dont want him to die u really like this snake and he is pary of my herp colection thanks.

I use to work at a pet store where we had baby sand boas. I remember that they were not reliable feeders, that they would go a long time with out eatting, then eat like crazy and go off again. I wouldn't worry about it unless yours starts loosing weight.

Ive never had problems with sand boas feeding once they started. Just stop handling it untill it feeds, and start it eating live fuzzies in its enclosure if you arent doing so already. once you get it going switch it to what ever method you prefer.

It's more important that you achieve the target temps that how you accomplish that. Here's the right forum for your question:

When snakes are not warm enough their metablism slows down, so be sure your temps are perfect.
