The baby is here

Just in the nick of time too because when we got up yesterday morning there was this odd white powdery stuff on the ground that I've not seen very often.. what is that stuff called??
OH YEAH
SNOW!
LOL
It was gone by noon when I left work but it was very very cold all day long, didn't get past the 30s all day.
It's very cold today too even thought the sun in shining.
Baby is very healthy looking, ate food for me without a problem & now I need to get some pictures up.
My dilema is naming it.
The people told me that this one was almost eaten by a dog too so I've thought what about Kibbles? That could be a male or female name.
Then I thought it was saved just in the nick of time, what about Nikki, or Nicki. That can be a male or female name too.
I'm going to have to flip a coin.
I'll get some pics online as soon as I get them unloaded off the camera.
It's such a cutie!!!

Well, I'm glad he's safe and in good hands!

The baby is eating for YOU so easily because some turtles have this ...Sixth Sense.

It's feeling very secure and trusts you, knowing he not in harm's way and doesn't have a worry in the world; kinda like detecting pheromones.

Of course this only occurs when they are in the care of a Chelonian Kindred Spirited Person! Now mind you, not all species of turtles have this ability, only special rare ones; as is the ability for humans to develop a Chelonian Kindred Spirit.

You make us all feel good assuming the caretaker of this orphan of nature.

Thanks,

Ric K.

Thanks Ric!
That's the nicest thing anyone has said to me in a long time.
Baby is doing fine so far.
I've been away from the computer for a few days.. too much going on right now but this week when final exams are over, life will calm back down. I hope lol
I tried getting my photos online this morning but my Kodak easyshare thing did an update then it said I need another one, I got tired of it restarting my computer so I said to heck with it for right now.
I'll get a pic online ASAP though.
Thanks again... what a nice thing to say.

Congrats on the new baby! I'm sure s/he is much happier with you rather than being used as a plaything!

Oh I'm sure any animal would rather not be a plaything.
I say that to kids a lot but you know.. they don't get it.
I don't think most of them are able to comprehend this until they can learn to see the big picture.
At least they didn't toss the baby back outside when this cold snap hit.
