Sheding....

novice_charmer Dec 01, 2006 11:03 AM

My burm is sheding every time I feed her like clockwork.I have been told this is not a good sign,is this so?I feed her once or twice a month, usually large meals such as pigs,if I can't get them I get her 2-3 rabbits depening on size.I would guess this amounts to to somewhere between 10-12 pounds of food per feeding.I have had her since sometime in late 98 and she is just under 12 feet and close to 55-60lbs.Do these stats seem right? She was just over 6 feet when I got her and she has never had any health problems that I know about. Every feeding goes the same she is an aggressive eater, takes about 30-45 minutes swallow the meal, then she drinks quite a bit of water. After that its usually a 4-5 days before we see any movement out of her and she immedeately begins to darken up,out comes the white turd, then the normal one with a buch of fluid, then her eyes cover over and she sheds with in 2-3 days.It happens this way every single time she eats.Do they not grow evrytime they shed a little?I thought this was how it was supposed to happen, although I could be wrong that's been known to happen.Any ideas/comments/advise would be greatly appreciated, thanx!

It is said that 1 out of every 4 people are mentally unbalanced. Think of your 3 closest friends, if they're normal, then it's you.
