average price of tangerines

kg Aug 07, 2003 09:35 PM

I know that leopard gecko prices drop dramatically...so just wondering how much tangerines are these days. Just regular old tangs with spots, not hypos or superhypos. I'm starting to keep leopard geckos again and I have a poss female tang from Gourmet Rodent stock. Also co-owning a Tremper albino hatchling and an adult abberant female. Hopefully will acquire some jungles soon. The little albino was attacking my fingers and it reminded me of why I like leos. Just so cute

prices range from anywhere between $100 to $200 depending on the color.

if you don't care about it being hypo or anything, you can get young babies for $25. i bought one at a show for $25 about a year ago, and it grew up to be a hypo. at that age it wont be a sure thing, but usually if the parents are tang, and the baby shows good color already, it will be too.

Very fast replies lol. I was talking about tangerines...not hypo tangerines or super hypo tangs...Sorry if I was a little confusing.

Kelli Hammack(hisss.net) had some nice tangs on her available page for under $100. I thought they were priced too low actually, i was tempted to get them, but then remembered i didnt have any more room. I dont know if they are still available or not, but go check it out.

I have sold some really nice tangs and tang carrot crosses from anywhere from $50 on up to $300. The ones I sold for 300 were very similiar to 600-1000 dollar animals I have seen. Bargains are to be had!!!
