Just got these tonight and they are beautiful. These are Vivid Reptiles stock a.k.a. Sonoran Black Sock Kings. They are a sexual pair and are yearlings.

Those are nice!

When I get into splendida - I think I'll look into their line.

One more thing...The Desert's physically seem to have a different feel to them than say Cal Kings or Florida's. Maybe its this pair they just seem more square shaped or something. Its hard to describe but they feel very powerful.

It was Vivid's splendida that got me interested in finally breaking down and buying one, as I had hardly ever seen anyone selling splendidas that were more in terms of what I was looking for, with the high yellow walls on each side of the snake. Most splendida I had seen for sale showed signs of integration in their patterns. I ended up getting a splendida from a friend of mine, Don Shores, and this one was of the same quality as Vivid's.
Vivid sells great animals, as I have purchased from them many times. Good choice to buy splendida from them my friend! I am sure you will be happy for years to come!

Wow! Those are some beautiful animals! I love the bright yellow, and the socked head. Man, if I got all the snakes I wanted, I'd have a ton of different species! It amazing the variety of colors snakes can some in. Perhaps one day I'll pick up a pair like yours.

Thanks for the pictures!
