Slow down in the winter?

Mrez Dec 01, 2006 09:21 PM

Do dragons who are over a year old slow thier eating habits in the fall and winter months? My boy hasn't been eating much these last few months...I'd say since august or so. He maybe eats half a dozen crickets once or twice a week and picks at his veggies (collards, mustard greens, squash and carrots occasionally). His neighbor is a younger female that is an absoulte hog, but then again when he was her age he also ate like a pig. The one other thing I noticed was that his poop tends to be small and runny...where as the girl tends to be larger and more..poop like? Sounds stupid I know but no real better way to describe it. He had some parasites in the past but we treated it so I am not entirely sure what may be going on. Wanted everyone's thoughts before I dropped the cash on a vet.

Hi
youre right they slow down before they go into brumation.
get lethargic and walk like a robot .
but.......
you mentioned he got parasites in the past .
i would advice just to play save get a stool sample and check it again for parasietes .
if he got parasiets and they r worms ,pinworms ,hookworms .
then i advice use parazap.com
make a tea give it 7 days then 7 days not then again 7 days .
give 1 cc for every 100 gram of the tea
then the worms and worm eggs r killed .
when i used panacure in the past it came back every time .
after i used parazap i get ride of the worms and i stil used it after 6 years .
byeeeee
