UVB reflected by mirrors?

famrihill Dec 02, 2006 10:27 AM

Yes, odd question. I know UVB does not pass though much at all. Does anyone know if a typical mirror will reflect(redirect) UVB and if there would be substantial loss? Just curios.

I recently read that brushed aluminum reflectors reflect significantly more UVB than ones that are painted white. I don't recall mirrors being tested. Take a look at this link.
