hello to all reading im a new owner of a crested gecko, And dispite
all my tries to find a way to sex my gecko(and not like that) i'm come up empty handed. If any one knows how to detirmine the sex of geckos please help a brother out.thanks.

Crested geckos are not very easy to sex when they are young. Older geckos and adults are much more easily sexed. The males will have very obvious hemipenile bulges (almost look like they have a pair of testicles). Females will of course lack these large bulges. For the most part, by the time the crested geckos is 9 months old, you can sex them easily. Some males can be sexed as early as 6 months but for females, to be 100% sure, need to wait till they are 9 months old.
Other methods of sexing crested geckos will require practice and a good 8x jeweler's loupe. When crested gecko juveniles reach about 2.7" snout to vent length or longer, small dimples in the scales can indicate preanal pores which the males have. However these are not easy to see and only really start to develop as the gecko gets older.
