This isn't exactly a venomous question, but I figured some of the folks who frequent this board would be able to give me a good answer.

Generally I would use Baytril for a bad resp. infection, but for whatever reason I can't find any for sale right now. Has anyone ever used an oxytetracycline injection for an RI? It's for a 40lb burm, but directions for snakes aren't exactly on the box. For small livestock it calls for 0.5cc/10lb, so I was thinking of about 1.5cc to start out, but I'm not sure how frequently I should administer the injection (if I should at all).

Thanks,

Will

Have you been to a vet? Thats where you buy baytril, they wont sell it to you unless its be prescribe by a vet as far as I know.
And guessing on dosage doesnt sound to safe to me.
