I’ve had my chuckwalla for almost a year. I live in a small town and chuckwalla supplies are hard to find. The first month I had him I kept him in a 20 gal aquarium. And he was losing weight. I took him out in the yard to graze but it didn’t help. I got him a big Rubbermaid container and the problem didn’t stop, I caught a sagebrush lizard and put him in the cage, I had accident scooped up a large amount of sugar ants and needed some pest control. Suddenly chuck started to beef up! it seemed to me that he enjoyed the company...
the only problem was, sagebrush lizards are vary hostile by nature so fearing for chucks fingers I let the sage lizard go after a couple weeks.

So dose chuck need company?
