Wow is it a dead weekend or what?

It's gettin' a little slow around here so here's some holiday cheer to go with the holiday beer! I have to admit to playing favorites in my snake room and there are some new guys up and coming. We will see if they can snag a place in my heart. First the new kids on the block, next post some of my favorites from last years stuff. Hope I get better with this camera, I took 150 pics to get 9 or 10 decent shots!

I'm not sure about anybody else, but I'm hardly home, with kid functions, Thanksgiving, and Christmas stuff. Anyway, I really like your new guys, and last years are nice too. Is the Eastern in the 2nd shot a Greenville, SC? What is the 1 in the 3rd shot, maybe Georgia? They are all real nice. I have to get some Thayeri some day. I'll post some pics when I get a chance. Thanks for sharing. By the way, those are some pretty hands you have There. HA! Just kidding!Derek

Yes , Greenville S.C. from Peter Jollies at ECC. The male had a few regurges but is on track now but the female has passed him way up! My hands are good but definitely not purty!
Thanks,

Nice snakes Todd. I found a Goini that looks a lot like yours in a pet shop,it's the first goini I'v seen in the seven years I'v been collecting kingsnakes here in Taiwan. It cost me US $150 wich is the starting price of ''low grade'' kings here. I got it cheep because the pet shop owner, who is a rip off artist.didn't know what is was.
Now Im stuck with a problem I don't know if I'll ever find a partner for him,I'd like to use him for breeding and my question is will he accept a frorida female without being teased by a goini female ? I'm also curious to know how much your goini cost you, ? I know there is no comparison because kings are imports here. Just curious.

Not Todd here but,

Any Ssp. of King will bred to another if all conditions are met (i.e. sexual maturity, burmation, etc...) It does not require trickery

Goini X Florida king is one of my favorite king snake crosses, this cross creates a very nice variation in hatchlings and when mutations (amel, axanthic, hypo) are involved, it gets even more interesting...

Goini X Brooksi breeding

Het Lavender offspring from that breeding

lastly the cost of Goini vary you can get one for $20 if you're lucky but with the current market they can be sold as much as $200-$250 for something like a blaze phase

"Blaze Phase"

Thanks for handling that, these are my first floridanas and goinis. I knew they would mate but don't know much about their care.
