Chasing the wind...

Hey guys,
I've had the pleasure of keeping/breeding and enjoying snakes for most of my life. I'm looking for the elusive Hydrodynastes Cinctus or at least current information.

I absolutely DIG gigas and have had the pleasure of keeping them for years awhile back. Recently I decided to acquire an adult specimen and through a quick look around the block was intrigued again by Cinctus. I checked Petco and they were out of them.(this is humor)

In a nutshell I'm guessing that small numbers have been brought in over the last few decades as WC and crashed and burned. Is anyone working with them that you are aware of either in this country or another? What about their native country? while I understand getting animals out of a country can be a dead end, I'd at least love to know about a potential contact.

I've seen some of the worlds most impressive reptiles that were thought of as unavailable, unrealistic, unkeepable and unattainable show up and become established in US collections, so it CAN happen, I'd just like to help it happen.

Thanks, Mark
