I have not found any proof that high-contrast/low-contrast are anything more than random. I have clutches (same clutch) where some are very high-contrast and detailed while siblings are somewhat faded. I have also seen high-contrast turn into faded adults.

IMO the term "high contrast albino" is just a marketing ploy.
