DigitalBliss Dec 04, 2006 12:39 PM

What is the best way to keep a constant humidity for a ball python its at 60 right now but I was told it should be at 70-80.

Anywhere between 40 and 60 is fine for a ball. You can increase humidity for your snakes shed cycle - but otherwise your 60% is fine.

Tosh,
When do you raise it with a collection of over 5?

Don't listen to any advice from whoever told you that ball pythons need 80% humidity. Anything above about 40% is fine...too high will lead to far more problems than too low. Just mist to boost humidity whenyou are expecting a shed and you'll do fine...
