misting

My question is in regards to misting.I am looking at using a
zoo med auto mister,and also hand misting with a sray bottle.My
question is should I still be using a drip system?or can I pretty
much elminate it?any info would greatly be appreciated,and thanks
to everyone who has answered my previous questions.

It depends how often you will be misting the enclosure and for how long. If you are misting the cage 3 to 4 times a day and for two or more minutes each time, this should be a sufficient amount of water. However, it also depends on the individual chameleon. If you notice that your chameleon isn't drinking as much from the misting and prefers the dripper, you may still want to incorporate it into your daily routine. Hope this helps.
