Thanks!

Do people get Reptariums for Balls? I have a 38 gallon i have bab chameleons in now, but they wont be in there for much longer. My ball is in a 15 gallon long, and i was going to just buy another tank for him. But if i can use the reptarium, nevermind that. Either that or i was going to move my Black Rat Snake into the reptarium, and move the Ball into a 20 gallon Long. Dont know,, but do people actually use Reptariums for snakes?I havent heard of that.
I keep my 2.5 year old normal female in a 75 Gal Reptarium. I think some here would warn against using a reptarium, but I've had no problems.
The guy I bought her from had her in a 20 long...she loves her new home (30"x30"x48"
which is huge compared to the 20 long.
I've read that too much space can be a bad thing, but she loves it - using evry bit of the space it provides when she goes cruising at night.
She has an appropriately sized habba hut over a heat pad and under a basking lamp on one end and another on the cool side with her water dish in between the two so she can hide and feel secure any time, anywhere.
Long story short...(I know, it's already too long)...Yes, in my opinion, you can use a Reptarium for a Ball Python.
How do you keep the humidity level up in a Reptarium?
I would think with all that open air, humidity would be fairly low.
Just wondering.
That is a good point. I live in Virginia. Relative humidity very rarely drops below 50%. Plus, I keep my room at 76 degrees which helps keep the humidity up.
If you were worried about humidity, you could just make a "wet hide" for the snake to go to when needed.
Mine just hangs out in her water dish when ever she feels the need.
