It's pretty early in the year. I don't know about everybody else, but I don't even introduce snakes until January or February. My earliest breedings ever took place last year in February. Usually, I don't see any action until March - May (well, my snakes don't see any action )

I have several females this year that were not bred at all last year:

0.4 were with a male but obviously no breeding went on since no litters came, any ova must have been re-absorbed
0.1 from Howard Leong (he alternated his 0.2 females each year
0.3 new breeders from 2004

So, I decided to open the tubes between the cages early this year, just last night as a matter of fact.

Just checked and I have a pair with tails lined up right now (1.1 from Howard). Does not look like any actual copulation going on yet but definate courting.

And several others are cruising the tubes making new friends along the way.

Mine went at it a few weeks ago and then both went into shed mode and didnt pay attention to each other. After they shed it was a different story. They have been all over each other for the past two days. Now if i could just get my colombian redtails to do the same. I wish everyone luck with their breedings this year.
