Medical question

My male spotted python at times seems to lay with his head tilted to the side. Sometimes when he is moving and then stopping, he tilts his head sideways when he stops. His weight is good, I think he was born between 2000 and 2002. His eating habits are sporatic, he is not nearly as good of eater as my female, but he will take a mouse every 2 or 3 weeks. Any clues?
I would appreciate any help.

Sounds an awful lot like IBD, which is almost always fatal, and highly contagious to all pythons. However, I had a small Rainbow boa with similar symptoms that turned out to be a mild eye infection. GET IT TO A REPTILE VET, ASAP.
