Cycled my pair, and have observed several breedings. Now the male has refused food for the last few weeks. Is this normal of males during the winter?

Cycled my pair, and have observed several breedings. Now the male has refused food for the last few weeks. Is this normal of males during the winter?
It's normal for males to go off food during breeding season. If you cycled him and have him paired or are potentially pairing him, it's not surprising at all.
