Male not eating

python hunter Dec 05, 2006 05:33 PM

Cycled my pair, and have observed several breedings. Now the male has refused food for the last few weeks. Is this normal of males during the winter?

It's normal for males to go off food during breeding season. If you cycled him and have him paired or are potentially pairing him, it's not surprising at all.

One of my males got the scent of one of my females beeing in season and fasted for 38 weeks.
So don't worry about it.
