Approximate size for age....

sasquatch1 Dec 05, 2006 07:01 PM

Can anyone give a low down of approximate sizes dragons should be as they age?

We have a female "Junie" we purchased in...you got it, June. She was pretty small when we purchased her, I'm thinking 4-7 weeks. She seems fat and happy and is currently 11" long. Is that about right? What are some benchmarks I should look for as she develops?

Just like people, bearded dragons develop at different rates and some are "short" and some are "tall". As long as your beardie appears to be full and healthy then everything is going according to genetics and nature. But if you would like to check out a chart, then follow the link:

Cheers!
