temperature for jacksons

seaflirt2 Dec 06, 2006 12:01 AM

I am setting up a reptarium for a jackson,my basking area gets to
85-90 degrees, but the rest of my reptarium only gets to a high of
73 degrees.My night time temps drop to about 66 degrees.I am using a 18"slime line uv fixture,and a zoo med 50w halogen.My
question is are these temperatures too cold for jacksons?I read
recently that they can take temperatures in the 60s,is this ideal
teperatures for these guys?as always any info would greatly be
appreciated.
thanks

No, those temps aren't too cold. Jax tolerate cooler temps better than hotter ones. Make sure the temps drop at night.
