Right now, I only have a 5 mo. old BCI. She's my pride and joy, and better than a girlfriend because she doesn't talk, can't hear and dinner is always cheap.

HOWEVER, the more I read about the morphs and things on this forum, and the new things happening in the world of boas, the more interested I become. Unfortunately, my knowledge of genetics doesn't extend past the high school level, and I was wondering if anybody can refer me to either a website or a book that could re-introduce me to genetics.

While there are many web sites with some genetics material, they are either limited in scope or riddled with misinformation or both. I'd recommend a genetics text. One of the better and cheaper ones is Schaum's Introduction to Genetics, by Elrod and Stansfield. Used paperback copies in good condition cost less than $10. I like it because of the problem-oriented approach.

Check your local news stand for the Jan 07 issue of Reptiles magazine. There's a lot of great info on boa locales, care, morphs and breeding.
