there don't seem to be a lot of poeple out there who feel comfortable with their husbandry or at least willing to share about it
there is this though, which is written by a fella who has had some considerable dealings with them; he informs me they so well when treated like a slkight more aquatic reeves.
But then i have found reeves to be exceedingly adaptable.
i have been told that kwangtungs are not as tolerant of less thna clean water.
i have not seen the natural habitat of this species but there is at least one persone who frequents these forums who i suspect has. perhaps he will grace us with a description.

also,
wanna move this discussion if it develops to the asian turtles forum?

In general, I have found them to be equivalent in hardiness to Reeves. I have had one going on 15 years now and water quality doesn't seem to be a particular problem. As with any imported Asian aquatic, you always have the risk of a pre-exisitng parastitic infestation that may weaken the animal and you may want to invest in prophylactic treatment or a fecal analysis by your herp vet. As for care, they do well with moderate-depth generic aquatic set-ups and diet with a tropical temperature level.
