easy question... but not sure

One of my male columbian boas is trying to breed with one of my large female "mutt" boas (red tailed/columbian mix) but i'm not sure if he is big enough... the female is about 7 feet long, and good weight, but the male is only about 5 and a half feet long and isnt very large around... do you think that he is big enough to reproduce?

Its not the size of the animal as much as the "age" that counts.
Maturity is the key to quality reproduction.
