Pics of my Milksnake

Geckofanatic23 Dec 06, 2006 10:06 PM

Hey everyone, its been at least a month since I last posted, so I thought I'd share a pic of Irwin, the Sinaloan milk I bought in October. He's an absolute joy to have, and has been an ambassador for his species, converting several snake-a-phobic relatives into snake lovers (with the help of the rest of my reptilian menagerie of course). I can't wait to take him to my annual presntation at my brother's elementary school during reptile week. He also just got moved into a roomy 20 gallon long yesterday. Thanks to everyone who gave me the information to help me choose my critter. Also, sorry if the picture isn't the best quality, I'm new to the digital camera thing.

Very nice. Nice to see a pic of a bigger one. I just picked up a Sept. hatchling who is doing very well. Now I see about the size he'll get. Cool little snake

I guess they grow pretty fast. My understanding is that sinaloans might get 4 ft. but usually top around three. Will be interesting to see how big mine will get. I'm not an overfeeder so I won't be speeding it's growth rate but I have never actually seen a larger sinaloan. Had to get one animal with nice colors

There are some bloodlines that top 4 feet. These are monsters and are extremely impressive to see in person. No matter how big yours gets, it will be a beauty as an adult for sure. Nothing beats an adult bright red sinaloan in my mind!

That's kind of what I was hoping to hear The colors are very nice. So, I can have a nice big, impressive easy to deal with indigo but for the impressive color scheme I'll have the Sin.

Since I'm keeping my collection VERY small these days Might add another over the next 3 to 5 but I have NO clue what it'd be.

It's so strange. I've tried to give this hobby up before and within a year or two HAD to have something Weird habit, been doing it since I was 12 or 13. Don't ask me how old I am now LOL
