skin shed

Is there a way to preserve a shed skin?

I usually spray them with water then press between some books till its flat and dries. Also ziplock bags keep it relatively fresh

I don't know if you have to do anything to preserve them to be honest. I've got an eastern milk shed that I found as a kid 20 years ago that is still in my parents basement and its perfectly in tact.

What am I doing with it still? Good question and I don't have an answer for that, but in any event, its still in perfect condition. I would say keep it dry and in a zip lock and it will preserve just fine.

They will disintegrate over time, stow it in a ziplok.
