Anery type 2 any axanthics around?

slithering_serpents Dec 07, 2006 11:21 AM

Please does anyone here know of an Anery type 2 that they believe is axanthic? I keep hearing that anery type 2s are where people think that we will eventually get axanthics from, if at all. I'd love to see pics of any you think might be.

Thanks

This little lady is black all around. She gains more with every shed. Below are pics of her around 18 months and in the last two she is around nine months. Her eyes are completely black. When I bought her, she had a deep purple tone. I only saw one sibling. The sibling had normal colored eyes and was lighter, but also anery. There are other black eyed boas, and every one I know of has loads of black.

I sure remember you posting this pic last year, I just love the way the sides of her tail looks!! Do you expect her to never develop any yellows then? Is she truly axanthic? Thanks for posting her. I had a migraine yesterday that was horrible or I would have thanked you sooner. Thanks for posting her! : )

will ever brown out. Nice anerys usually look good until they are around 18 months old. There are even a few that don't brown out, but not many. Even if they do not brown out, they don't get more black coloration. This girl is over two years old now and looking better every day. We'll see one of these days, many, many moons from now. First I'll have to get hets. and go from there. Thanks for the compliments. With every one, she gets a little more attitude. Below is a pic at a few months old and the purple tone I mentioned.

Wow, that's exciting. I had no idea there were type 2s in the Sonorans. : ) Is this snake a dwarf? Is it an adult? Are you certain it is axanthic? Very very beautiful and interesting snake. Thank you for sharing.
