It is difficult to say how many crickets a baby dragon will eat. All eat different amounts. Best thing to do is feed as many as each dragon can eat in about 5 minutes. Hatchlings should be fed 3-4 times a day. 2-4 months old feed 2-3 times a day 4-8 months twice a day and 8-10 months once a day. 10-14 every other day and adults 1-3 times a week. This is for insects only!. Dragons who are 4 months and older should have access to greens every day in addition to their insects.

As all dragons have different appetites, some baby dragons can eat as much as 30-50 appropriately sized crickets per meal. Some only eat 10-20 per meal.

There are many sites online to order insects from. The best thing to do is find one that is close to you. Compare prices, shipping rates, guarantees and other features. What works great for one person, may not work as well with you. The closer the shipper the cheaper the shipping cost, so if one company is in California and people in that state find them great and the shipping cheap, the shipping may be much more to ship if you are in New York. There are so many insect breeders in the US, I don't know which ones are the best, mainly because i don't use them. However others who do use them may be able to give better suggestions than I have, but I felt mentioning distance from you to the breeder will make an impact on shipping costs and also, travel time. Weather between source and destination can be important as well. Such as, shipping from the northern states to southern Florida could mean the insects leave a cold environment into a rather hot one, which does make it more difficult to ensure the crickets remain in an ideal environment from start to finish. May not be too significant overall as most breeders know how to pack their insects so they arrive alive.

Baby bearded dragons have a voracious appetite when it comes to crickets! Obviously you are wanting to buy in bulk since you are asking about online suppliers. I have sampled many of the cricket suppliers out there, but I must say that I am quite the fan of Fluker's Farm. They may not be the cheapest out there, but their product is very good. My normal order is about 1000 3/4" crickets a week and it typically costs me about $25 a week. Also, check out the classifieds here on kingsnake under feeders. You may find some good deals on there depending on the quantity you are looking for. Also check out Worm man, Top Hat Crickets, and Timberline. There are many, many out there, just find a company that you like and that is within your budget. Cheers!
