Veiled breeding references

baio44 Dec 07, 2006 10:20 PM

I've found these forums and the few articles on kingsnake very helpful for veiled cham breeding info. But, can someone suggest some other good websites or an in-depth book?

I have many questions and will wait to research most of them on my own. But, one i can not find is the age/size when a female veiled can start to breed.

Any help with both these Q's would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
jeff

I have kept/raised/bred/hatched veileds for over 10 years now...if you have any questions, I will do my best to answer them. I don't have time to look for some good sites for you right now...sorry...work to do!

You said..."But, one i can not find is the age/size when a female veiled can start to breed"...I don't breed my females until they are at least a year old and full grown. Can't give you a size because their adult size/weights can vary too much.

My Mammas were 11 months and 12 months when I bred them. You will know they will have little blue dots on them. As far as a good web site I have used adcham.com It has alot of information on breeding and care of the babies. Any information you need to know about a chameleon you can find on that webb site.
