Boa Leaking!!! help!

joeleadpipe Dec 07, 2006 10:37 PM

Hello,
i feed my Boa 2 weeks ago 2 medium rats then 3 days ago i feed her another medium rat. She was acting hungry.
i picked her up today and fluid came out of her mouth. I opened her mouth no sign of pus or slime , no leakage from her nostrils and no audible signs of a pneumonia.
Could it be she was overfed and this was just excess animal digestion she leaked out! or something worse. this is the first time ive seen this happen.
shes five foot nine inches long weighs 7 pounds lives in a homemade wooden enclosure the size of maybe a 175 gallon tank ambient temprature is at this moment 79 and basking area is set at 90 degrees. use a wet towel for humidity and at this time do not have a way of mesuring the humidity.
thanks in advance,
joe

Joe,
....If she had recently drank water she may have just lost some of it due to gravity when you picked her up.
